The lush mature gardens and landscaping of the Midwest, I experienced as a child, were my first inspiration to pursue a career in landscape design. Moving to Divide, Colorado in 1970, I began to recognize how the natural landscape of this beautiful countryside can be developed and appreciated. Colorado State University offered me the perfect opportunity to study a field that would allow me to merge this appreciation of nature with the creative aspect of designing landscape spaces. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture & Design, I returned to the Pike’s Peak region. It has been my good fortune to practice here for over 35 years. In 2008 I took the step to obtain my license in Landscape Architecture.
Each new project allows me to develop a space for my client that is uniquely theirs. Designing a setting that will combine the pleasure of nature, with expanded enjoyment of their home. I get to design a space that will make my clients dreams come true. Whether designing an award winning landscape for the Parade of Homes, or a simple entry garden each design allows me find a new way that…. Nature is arranged for the use and comfort of man.
